Wonderful post - what a perfect illustration of the fundamental inversion of justice that takes place under socialism (and more fundamentally as a result of altruist ethics). The government systematically violates individual rights and causes widespread misery while "looking the other way" by not prosecuting parties that voluntarily contract to mutual benefit.
